Career & Technical Education

Central High School's Career and Technical Education programs offer many wide-ranging professional education opportunities. Each discipline uses a highly-detailed plan of study that outlines what courses students should take to complete a 3- to 4-year CTE pathway.

 Central High School’s CTE programs give students hands-on, career-focused learning across nine disciplines, combining STEM skills with professional preparation. Students engage in Project Lead the Way STEM courses as well as other program pathways that emphasize problem-solving, collaboration, and technical skills preparing them for college, industry certifications, and entry-level careers in a wide range of fields. Upon completion of a CTE pathway, students have the opportunity to earn college credit or industry certification giving them a head start to their future.
