Digital Media & Communications

Central’s Digital Filmmaking & Media Arts empowers students to build skills, tell powerful stories, and create something truly awesome.

Digital Filmmaking & Media Arts is a hands-on, project-based program that immerses students in the creative and technical worlds of film, live television, radio, graphic design, and multimedia production. The program emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and professional skills, preparing students for college and careers in media arts. Students produce real-world content, participate in Central's annual film festival, compete in SkillsUSA competitions, take concurrent enrollment courses through Pueblo Community College, and can earn Adobe Premiere Pro Certification. Each course in the Digital Film making & Media Arts pathway sequence builds on the skills and knowledge students gain the the preceding courses.
