Principal's Message

Mehess

Hello Wildcats and Wildcat Families:

As summer begins, I want to take a moment to reflect on the 2025-2026 school year and extend my heartfelt gratitude to our students, families, teachers, and staff for making this year such a tremendous success. Your support, dedication, and positive spirit helped make Central High STEM Magnet School an incredible place to learn, grow, and achieve.

This year was filled with accomplishments, challenges overcome, memories created, and countless moments that showcased what it means to be a Wildcat. I am proud of all that our students achieved, both inside and outside the classroom. Thank you for partnering with us and for helping create a school culture built on respect, kindness, and excellence. As I often remind our students, it doesn't cost anything to be kind, and our Wildcat community continues to demonstrate that every day.

I hope each of you enjoys a fun, relaxing, and well deserved summer break. Take time to recharge, make memories with family and friends, and celebrate all that you accomplished this year. Summer will fly by, and we are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for another outstanding year.

As we prepare for the start of the 2026-2027 school year, our incoming 9th grade students will have Freshman Bootcamp on Thursday, August 6, 2026, followed by Transition Day on Monday, August 17, 2026. All students will begin the new school year on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. As those dates approach, please watch for additional information through email and SchoolMessenger.

It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve the Central High STEM Magnet School community. Together, we continue to build strong relationships, support student success, and create opportunities that prepare our students for bright futures. Thank you for being an important part of our Wildcat family.

Please feel free to contact me at (719) 549-7330 if you have any questions or concerns.
